Ok guys this is my first post so my apologies if this has already been covered . Today I called Ford to ask a question about my 2023 Maverick order.
After she answered my question she emailed me a $100 dollar Ford gift card.
I was surprised to get this for just asking a question. Just curious to see if this is common and if any of you have used this card.

A hat, shirt, keychains, and what are the blue things?
I need to call them and express my disappointment since I ordered a '22 hybrid XLT on 15 Oct 21, and it was canceled w/o a production date, and the '23 hybrid Lariat I ordered on 15 Sept isn't going to go into production either. I'm not ordering a '24 because I'm not going to keep waiting. The '22 hybrid Lariat with all the bells and whistles I have is one I found that a customer canceled because he couldn't wait any longer and bought a Ranger instead.

So I called Ford Customer Relations yesterday and explained my total unhappiness with several issues.

1. The ‘22 hybrid Maverick XLT w/Lux and CP360 I ordered on 15 Oct 21 was eventually canceled more than a year after I ordered it.

2. The ‘23 hybrid Maverick Lariat w/Lux, BAP, and CP I ordered on 15 Sept 22 will not be produced, as I received the email notice last week with a special incentive offer to order a ‘24 model.

3. The hybrid Lariat with all the bells and whistles I found on 30 Oct 22 has a recall notice for engine fires with no solution to remedy the recall.

4. My wife’s ‘22 hybrid Escape SEL has the same engine fire recall.

Basically, in a nutshell, they took down my information and complaints, and someone else will call me back in 3-5 business days.

These are the first two Ford products we’ve owned since the mid ‘90’s. We got away from Ford products due to certain issues we were having with their vehicles. I was super excited when the Maverick came out, so we decided to give Ford another shot. After these two recalls w/o a solution to fix the problem, we’re eventually going back to buying Toyota vehicles. The new hybrid Tacoma comes out later this year. I may take a look at it.

So, they gave me a case number, and I’m waiting to see what their resolution to my complaints are.
