You may still be able to change the color, reach out to your dealer and ask to make the change. Usually you can change the color until you get assigned a final assembly day (as opposed to the week of assembly)

This is bad information. Some changes will affect your production timing, but color usually won't get your build rescheduled.
Then tell that to the regional manager who works for Ford.

I agree with all the comments. This was on my list of possible colors until I decided to be weird and go with Area 51. I think Cactus Grey will be nicer than you think. Even if you don't like it when you see it,I'll bet you will have no trouble selling the Maverick very quickly on your own!!
I was torn between those two also. I went with Area 51 because I liked that it had more of a blue hue to it but CG is definitely a nice color. I expected Area 51 to not be as popular for some reason but according to the tracker on the subreddit, 1/4 of orders so far have been A51 so I guess I won't be that unique.

Yeah, my only regret about ordering Area 51 is that it seems everyone else is as well!

I think there are no bad (exterior) color choices, Ford chose the color options well. Interior may be a different story ...

In other words, the CG will look great.

FWIW, I've seen it in person on a Bronco. It changes with sunlight and shadow, sometimes more bluish and sometimes more grayish. But it never looked "minty green" to me.

I decided to order it and seeing it in person confirmed that choice for me.

Ask the dealership to make the change in WBDO, if it won't take, CONCEPS may allow you to make that change. It's rare that you can't change a color if the car hasn't been scheduled to a specific day.

Edit: Upon checking my own orders, it won't allow me to modify color to a scheduled order. In that case, ask the dealer to submit the change through CONCEPS, as I've been able to do that in the past for a scheduled order. This wouldn't kick an order back out of scheduling in my experience.
