I've been attempting to do a BMS reset as I have a new AGM. I'm wondering; when you flash the hi beams, do you use the flash to pass mode or do the full switch between hi and low beam? Do you start in hi or lo beam? I think you're supposed to end in hi beam? So far, I have not been able to get the dashboard light confirmation.
Flash - where stalk returns automatically.
Start normal, end normal.
It's about seeing the engagement anyway for the system to know it's happening.
Very even pacing for that whole 10 sec range.
Actually, after a pause at the start for the remaining time - even pacing.

i tried many times to do the reset procedure (while battling battery 2 and a couple dealer visits). never got a dash confirmation. on warrantied battery 3 which is an agm this time, i parked it. disconnected the battery. charged it overnight, reconnected the battery. locked the doors and walked away for 10 hours. i'm confident this reset the bms because the deep sleep msgs are gone.

in hindsight i should have only walked away for 5 hours. then walked back the other 5.
The reset routine Zero's out figures that are retained thru a battery disconnect. Perhaps eventually they are erased - how long to have a USB thumb drive non-charged and have data disappear?

Battery age, cumulative charge/discharge Ah's, probably last BMS Relearn timestamp so it can start a new cycle, battery resistance reading, ect.

Probably some records steps for those 2 days! Hope you were in a challenge.

Yeah, I had a little bit of reservations about my dealership resetting the BMS when it was in the shop for battery 2's wheel of fortune spins. Then i decided i didn't care about losing any onboard data so i disconnected the battery.

someday, someone will post how to do the BMS procedure like a true Swiss technical writer. don't care now, because the agm is behaving.

it still startles me when i press unlock and my dome lights come on 🙂

And that you'll still get to enjoy it during winter when even more needed!

Just got the blinking light on the third try. Just decided to do a forth brake pump and the light flashed. I guess that should work?
