I'm wondering about the dial gear selector. Do you have to push down or pull up or just turn it to engage Drive, Reverse, Park etc. My fingers and hands are weak from a muscular disease, pushing down would not be a problem, pulling up would be. It's getting hard for me to squeeze a shift lever to engage.

I would think your foot has to be on the brake then just turn the knob to go from park to drive or reverse and vise versa.

It is an easier job for fingers than turning a timer on an old microwave.

Yup, foot on brake to take it out of Park. If you pull up to a stop and turn the ignition off it goes into Park by itself. If you stop and open the door it goes into Park by itself too.

That sounds handy but how do you put it in D? I'm hoping you just turn it with out any other action. Maybe if it is in park and I step on gas it will go, same as if I put it in R for race?

I also think while driving it doesn’t allow you to put it into reverse or park and the indicator light stays in a drive mode.

I just take index fing and spin it, easy-pezzy. Dial keeps spinning. Maybe I'm getting it into super high?😁
