Hey gang, looking for some tips on getting the Gator EFX sealed up a little better. I feel like I did pretty good getting the rails on nice and square. The bulkhead seal that they send seems pretty dang thick. I'm thinking maybe I need to pull it and replace with something lower profile. Anyone gone through this?

I'm really happy with the product, I'm sure it's on me for getting the install right to minimize leaks. I also don't expect perfect, but better than what's going on now is ideal.

I got it on yesterday and went through the carwash today and there was a lot of soapy water. Hard to tell, but I think it's coming in at the front of the bed which is leading me to the bulkhead seal is too thick causing a gap at the corners.

Add weather stripping foam in the gap towards the front between the plastic.
I also added it in the front corners and rear corners by the tailgate.

I have a different tonneau but the only leak was the gap at the front bed corners caused my the seam & plastic trim. I spoodged a little clear silicone on the seam & no more leaks.
