Fuse tap for DRL

Before I start testing fuses does anyone know what fuse I can tap to run a DRL bar on a Lariat hybrid. I haven’t taken the cover off the fuse box yet but plan on looking tomorrow.

I tried to use the side marker light but the Putco Virtual Blade must be drawing to much power because is kicks the light off after a second or 2. I have to remove the virtual blade and let the truck sit for a few minutes then the marker light will come back on.

Hello Bullseye custom in TX has a complete video on YouTube on how to install a set of DLR.. He will tell you what number fuse tap to go into can not remember not sure it was in the teens 11/14/19 not sure . I bought a set from him and he ripped me off big time would not recommend his products or his warranty to no one. But the video will give you what you need . Hope that helps

Did you ever get this working? The Putco blade looks nice but wasn’t sure how to wire it properly in the hybrid.

I’ve been busy so I haven’t really looked into it. I need to test the fuses in the engine bay to find one that will work.

Those fuses he uses which are for the PCM only seem to be applicable for the EcoBoost as I found them powered key off on mine. I have mine tapped into fuse 34 (front camera/CP360). Also you will likely need to keep the cover off of the fuse box as any of the typical micro fuse taps were too tall. I even tried shaving one down to minimum height, but the slight bulge in the cover prevented the junction box assembly from latching fully closed when flipped back over.
