Front Passenger side door lock

Intermittently, the front passenger door will not unlock even though the key is in my pocket.
Driver’s side always unlocks.
I have tried holding the key on the door…still will not open.

Your truck is probably in battery save mode when that happens

IF the fob ALWAYS works on the driver side, Sensor in the passenger handle may be bad- I'd check with dealer. I read someone else had the problem quite a while back.

This Or 12v battery is not sufficiently charged.

Trickle charge the 12v battery, using the jump points under the hood. Then reset BMS and lock the truck for at least 8 hrs. If the problem doesn't return, it's likely it's your 12v battery. If problem is still present, have the dealer check the PS sensor that AutobahnSHO mentioned.

Any updates? Mine just started doing this. I tried the “turn off/turn on intelligent access” trick and that did nothing.

That only works for the driver side and is due to a software fault which newer BCM firmware should address.

As others mentioned, if the truck is in Deep Sleep mode due to low 12v power then only the driver's side Intelligent Access remains active.
