I ordered my Maverick with the factory provided front license plate holder which I had the dealer install, although we don't need one in Florida.

I purchased a license plate lamp holder which i plan to mount with the lip down, so as to not interfere with the front electronics. (https://www.amazon.com/DaSen-Americ...ff-road+truck+jeep,automotive,110&sr=1-1&th=1)

Originally I purchased a pair of 700FF Hellas with wiring harness which I had to return after fitting them to the mount, as they were higher and interfered with the panel and didn't want possible problems (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0010VO8PQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details).

I then got a 20" triple row led bar to install in its place with an included wiring harness which should cause no problems (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GB5F68V?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details).

The question is where to mount the positive and negative leads of the harness. The negative factory indicated post for jump starting isn't threaded but there are I believe at least three ground points directly on top the "frame" under the positive factory indicated post that I'm planning to use.

Since I'll be towing my Maverick behind my motorhome, as several have been doing, I will have a charge line installed this Thursday by the shop that will also be installing the BlueOx baseplate and installing and modifying the FX4 lower fascia that I purchased. I expect that they plan to connect it to that post, using a nut, charge line, and then nut, but I have to confirm with them where/how they're going to do it and where they got the nut/get an additional one.

I plan on attaching the positive led harness line with a nut on top of that one. Any ideas?

Go for it. Super satisfied especially when driving on Georgia and Notth Carolina remote roads. Also when having to back into a remote site after unhooking from the motorhome and using it to light up the site. Easy to install. It’s the right red button. The blue one is to activate my tow charge line.

Thanks for sharing. Any reason you went with a 20" light bar instead of a 26" light bar?

I thought the extra six inches and weight might be too much for the plastic license plate holder the light bracket is attached to and if would have interfered with my break-away switch for the braking system as I tow the Maverick behind my motorhome. This one is also "rated" at 420 watts and has proven to be more than enough extra lighting for my needs. I used the light bracket upside down for clearance with the driving aids located just above the plate which would have been blocked if I installed it with the angled piece on the top.

I really hope that bar isn't lit up on public roads when other vehicles are around.
