So my truck have thrown this error the 5th time in less than 2 years and currently in the dealership for over 30 days and just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.

thinking of pursuing a buy back or a replacement.

What year is your Maverick?
Do you have ACC?
Ford has some software issues
I realize it has Escape listed. It seems to be a common problem

I tried to get my truck to throw that warning by covering up the camera with a piece of electrical tape.
Here's a post I made a week ago.
Just out of curiosity today when I went out.
I put a piece of black electrical tape over my camera in the middle of the windshield.

I received no warnings whatsoever.
I tried using my Lane assist. It didn't give any warnings, but it also did not detect being in a lane. The little notification stayed White instead of turning Green or Red.

Mind you, on my pre-collision assist I have the alert sensitivity set to high

In a couple of days I plan on using a larger piece of vinyl over the sensor and I'm going to put some aluminum speed tape over the sides of the bumper to see if I can elicit any warnings.
