The dealership I ordered through offers free delivery to anywhere in state. Anyone ever use something like this before? I guess I am wondering how it is delivered- like a flat bed truck? Or are they just going to drive my truck to my house? If they are driving it, I'd rather just go pick it up a couple hours away and drive home myself. But it it is being loaded onto a truck, I wouldn't mind taking them up on that free delivery offer and saving myself the 4+ hour roundtrip.

Anyone have experience?

It could go either way. Best to ask the dealer.

If they are going to drive it, it would take two employees and two vehicles. I seriously doubt they are going to that expense.

My moneys on a truck trailer or rollback delivery.

Nice benefit thou for sure.

Most of the time it's driven to your location. If trailering, make sure the paperwork states that. I assumed a Ford dealer in Troy Ohio was going to trailer my F250 from Troy to Huntington WV. They had to go to IL to get the truck and take it to Troy, then deliver to me. When they delivered the truck the guy drove it into the RV Park. You can imagine the look on my face. First question I had was where was the trailer? Needless to say, it had 800 miles on it when I got it. I was pissed.

Get it in writing!!!!

I got my Mazda from a dealer in South Fl. delivered to the dealer near me. I had assumed it would be on a flat bed or car carrier. Nope... they hired a driver from a company (like the same companies that move around rental vehicles), wasn't even a Mazda employee, and I had no idea. Brand new vehicle, 150 miles of straight highway immediately. Shame on me for not asking but I was quite furious when I was signing the final paperwork and saw 150 miles on the odometer reading... especially since I had already given them a non-refundable deposit. Definitely need to check with your dealer especially if you live a good distance away.
