FORScan questions

Hello All:
For anybody that can help me what FORScan tool to you use and where did you get it? Second what version if there is a thing of FORScan software do you use/have? What does it cost to acquire FORScan software? I believe at one time that I read you can get the reading like codes for OBDII for free for FORScan tools, but I am looking for a much help as I can get in this area.
