Any thoughts from high-mileage Mav owners out there? How is this thing gonna hold up?
My 2000 5.4 Expedition was a great veh all the way to 196k. Lots of boat (max)towing and long hwy trips.
A buddy has a 2015 F150 3.5tt. It’s a total pos at 80k.
If a $21k Mav is all used-up at 120k, I’d be hacked. But, I’ve ordered one at $35k. Should I rethink for one at less $$ ?
(Shhh - will a Ranger hold up better ?)

I would assume that the Ranger will hold up better: it's 2.3 engine is bulked up for truck duty, and the Ranger has a high strength frame.

The lower priced Maverick's are an incredible value, but - hybrid aside - that value diminishes as these vehicles are loaded and dealer market adjustment charges are factored in.

I think it will all depend what you plan doing with it and how you plan to treat it. It’s probably not built to be a werkly heavy hauler. It probably will be a long running daily driver with minimal ’heavy’ hauling.

6 months in with 6,000mi. and no issues.
