Did you create a new Ford.com account? If so, you will receive an email like this to verify your email address.

What the email address it is from. That will be your only way to tell if its real or not.

The last time I did anything was when I placed my order which was almost 4 months ago. This is the first thing I've heard in 4 months which makes me leery.

This is what it says.

So, both of those email addresses do appear to belong to Ford. The first one I've received from myself (my fordpass monthly update comes from it). The 2nd one I googled, found it referenced in multiple places, including another thread on this site:

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...r-not-showing-on-ford-account.2148/post-45252

The question is, why are they sending you an email to verify your email to the email you've already provided. Perhaps someone from the dealer updated some details and it is simply a verification related to that. Does the link appear to go to a Ford website?

That makes me feel a little bit better. Not sure haven't pushed the verify button yet.
