Ford Pass now shows my Maverick XLT Hybrid with activation pending....

I don't know if this means anything. I was getting impatient like I m sure many of you are awaiting the delivery of my Maverick Hybrid XLT, so i have been playing with stuff to make the time go quicker. I ordered my Maverick Hybrid XLT Area 51 Lux Package, Moonroof, Spray-in Bed-liner, Tonneau Hard Roll-up bed cover, Co-Pilot 360 on July 17th, 2021. I got confirmation email two days later, original production date of 12/20, got pushed back to 01/03, finally got a in production date of 01/10 with estimated delivery of 02/20. As of today, I have not received my "Built" email.

I had downloaded the Ford Pass App last week and registered my Maverick with its VIN number on the app under "Garage". The button generated remained greyed out until today when i just randomly press it and it began spinning and now says "activation pending" and " start your vehicle and accept the activation confirmation on the in-vehicle touchscreen...."

Should i take that as an unofficial Built confirmation or is that just some computer brain locked in somebody's desk drawing at the plant?

That means that all of the chips that are installed in the vehicle are now live. You can verify that it is indeed built by checking the Ford ETIS website - https://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do

and the AsBuilt website - https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/

Mine got like that right around the time it was built. The telematics module has probably been registered with their system so it's now showing up with a connection. It's very unlikely someone will hit the "accept" on the screen but that didn't stop me from trying the button every day or so.
