My dealer asked for a $100 deposit. They said they just wanted to prevent people from placing multiple orders and canceling on delivery, which makes sense.

Albert at Granger can correct me if I am wrong but I thought your place in line was based on your reservation date and not your order date. If this is true then you haven’t lost your place in line even if your dealer has not converted your reservation to an order yet. (That being said, it’s frustrating for us customers, and dealers too I think, that there is so much confusion with Ford’s various ordering protocols and not just with Maverick but Bronco, Lightning and others as well.)
