I had submitted a a few questions, hoping for some answers.
Of the many ways to lock my Lariat, does the fact that it is locked mean that the alarm is armed? If so, why do I need a second click of the fob to get an audible signal?

The second lock horn chirp is intended to allow you to locate the vehicle in a parking lot instead of having to blast the panic alarm button.

Makes sense.
Over the years, I’ve rented for days, weeks, months, all kinds of cars. Most chirped, locked and alarmed, on the first click of the fob. But some locked on the first click, and armed the alarm on the second.
I’m kind of an owner’s manual nerd…….love reading them. So I know that different cars, different strokes, So to
speak.
So, to confirm……
Anytime the truck is locked, by whatever means, the alarm is armed?
