Ford issues second fire-related recall

Attached article relates new fire-related recall for Mavericks. Sounds like this is the hold-up on delivery. I do not believe this is the same recall we have been talking about, if so, sorry!!

I am getting an EB, but I do not enjoy passing on what might be bad news for hybrid owners.

I said I was not sure if this was the same recall but I thought it provided info I had not seen before.

Easy. It’s all good. I think he was just confirming your thought that it could be the same one. I didn’t read it as snarky.

Well ........ I don't think its the same as the initial notice actually.
I read the 1st notice carefully, and it did not encompass my trucks build date.
This one actually does, so I'm taking it as they have expanded the date range significantly.

August 8th begins recall notice mailings, so we shall see.
Think I'll give my sales person a heads up on this too.

This is the same recall. The dates are the same. Unless you're truck was built after 6/8/22 it's included

Mine was a January 22 build. I'll hang tight for the recall notice, but no harm in shooting my sales person a quick blurb on the subject.

Then it's always been in the recall. The recall has always been 2/3/21 thru 6/8/22.
