Ford drops auto hauler Jack Cooper

My Maverick, which I ordered at the end of August, shipped on December 18th. It got to the railyard in St Paul, MN on January 1, and was released to the carrier. That carrier is Jack Cooper. On January 2nd, Ford ended their contract with Jack Cooper, with a 30 day notice. I don't necessarily anticipate this affecting anything regarding my truck, but I thought it was a very interesting development.

A certified "woman owned business". Other than looking for cheaper transport (via non union drivers) I wonder if all the back peddling from DEI has anything to do with it?

The trucking business is in a shambles right now.
