Ford Cant Find My Order

Recently hopped on ford chat to check in on order status. The support person could not find my order. She mentioned there are no results when searching order/sales code. Last time I checked was in January and they were able to pull it up. Contacted the dealership and they say they are working with Ford to resolve it. Hoping for an update Monday. FYI I contacted them to ensure the order was COVP’ed prior to the deadline.
Anyone else running into this?

Sounds like your dealer screwed up somewhere. Good luck. BTW I called marketing on Wednesday; No updates. Got Ford on Thursday for a tentative build date. Info from Ford etal SUX!!!!!!

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Once every month or so since last Sept I'd check with Ford Chat as to my order status. always the same "you are in order processing and will.....blah blah blah. the search usually took less than 3 minutes. Yesterday the Chat rep did multiple searches for my order (this took 20 minutes) and finally informed me that they could not find my order and to get hold of my dealer as to order status. The dealer did their own search and told me that yes indeed my order was still relevent and not to worry. So who knows what happened, I guess time will tell.

Hoping they clear it up. My concern was that if they couldn’t find the order in the system would it even get previewed for a potential build. Will cross my fingers and hope so.

Hey Cody, I spoke with Ford, and unfortunately we had several more orders than we had allocations. Ford is working diligently working to get production up to speed, which is why they are starting over brand new in 2024, with no carry over orders from 2023 from any dealers. We had several orders removed from the order banks. We are expecting those order banks to open around August/September, and we will keep you at the top of the list to give you priority on receiving yours this upcoming go around. I apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience, if we have any customer back out of their order on the few that we did get scheduled, we will be sure to offer that to you at your original price, if that's something you might be interested in? Lets stay in touch!

That wording is a confession, basically -- if they had "several orders removed from the order banks" they failed the COVP process, including Ford sending them the list in advance of the deadline of who was in danger. Good lord, and I feel awful for you, along with anyone else experiencing this. If you do re-order, obviously find another dealership.

Unfortunate for sure, will likely not be reordering through them if I do. Dealership is Parks Ford. Will cross my fingers they get a cancelled order somewhat close to my build.
