FORD CANCELLED MY MAVERICK ORDER!!! - (Ford Customer Service Transcript Attached)

I have access to my dealers internal spreadsheets, I demanded the Visibility Reports after they told me they sold my Oct ordered truck. Ours' is finally on a railcar but I looked at the spreadsheet early in the week and they had changed a ton of Mav order status inc adding Unscheduled-clean or Unscheduled-Material Hold. There is a separate column for In Order Processing, In Production, In Transit. All the Unscheduled-Material Holds are In Order Processing, all orders w a future schedule date are In Order Processing.

I can't tell what type of Mav order ea is but there are huge blocks of Unscheduled-Clean (in Order Processing w no VIN#) AFTER Oct 16 and for many Jan orders AFTER 1/22/22. Looks like if you don't yet have a VIN# there is an issue now.

My order is from Mid-October for a Hybrid Hot Pepper Red XLT with the only add-on being a Trailer-Hitch Connector. The Ford Rep claims my order is: "Unscheduled - Balance Out". "This means the order will not be produced because the model year has balanced out." I just contacted my sales guy at the dealership by email. No response yet.

Thoughts? Has this happened to anyone else?

Same color XLT Hybrid ordered October 21st. My only solace is that if I get bumped to '23 MY I'm price protected. Wo.uld have liked to have it by my birthday in late April, but I'll be patient

Can you elaborate on clean vs unclean? I have chatted with Ford Customer Service many times and the only info they were able to provide was it was in Processing status and I would receive a VIN when it is scheduled.
I just had that exact same experience with them. At least I'm still in processing.

Yes, I did in fact sign and provide ID. I have a copy as well. My order has been in processing status with Ford since October.
If it makes you feel any better, I ordered June 10th and was told my order was rolled over to a 2023 Jan 28th. A few of us that ordered Hybrids from small dealerships did. Most people people on this forum and other places have called us liars or simply don't believe it. Though I feel bad for you, it kind of helps my case to prove that Ford and dealerships are in fact fucking people over without warning.

This is the time for the Ford person on this board to step up and offer some help.
I'm a June 10th ordered that was rolled over Jan 28th to a 2023 and talk about it all the time...Ford guy has never stepped up to comment or talk about my situation. Most people just think me and others that have the same problem of already getting rolled over is just full of shit. Guess what...it's not some giant conspiracy...it's really happening.

I feel for you. I'm wondeing if the same fate awaits more of us?? But yes it bothers me a little when the Ford guy responds to someone with a check engine light on.

Guess what thats a warranty / dealer issue. If there is something else going on Ford pays field service engineers to investigate and resolve difficult problems.

This getting the run around with peoples orders and or cancelled is where the help is needed.

It could've been worse you could've been waiting since June or July like so many others. Looks like you'll have set your Alarm for 8/16/22 and hope you can get in line for the My23 order bank🤣

He's never talked about it because you have no definitive proof other than "my dealer said".

I understand there are people with orders from June-Sept that still haven't received their truck either. I feel for them! I hope they get theirs! I'm fine with the waiting 6 months as long there's a truck at the end of the wait. My complaint is that it feels like I've now waited for nothing.

I don't know if my dealer (Randall Ford) did something wrong or if Ford is doing something sketchy (cue conspiracy theorists). At this point I don't know who to trust. If I have to reorder I may have go with a different dealer, even though this one is 5 mi from my house.

Trust your gut, go to another dealer.

I'd ask the @fordvideoguy if an un clean order be fixed, if it will keep it's order date and have an opportunity to be fixed for roll over orders. So at least keep your price protection and be front of the line for MY23. The bad part is this relies on your dealers wiliness to fix any errors as unreadable drivers license or change of address from the license etc.

Has your dealer responded? Your first post says you reached out to them.
My sales contact at the dealer just called me to let me know that the truck is still on order and everything looks good with it. He said it will not be a MY2022 because of the Hybrid engine constraint. It is being rolled over to MY2023 and he claims the truck will be built (eventually). Time will tell.
