The op can correct me if I'm wrong, but I took it as he saw a random window sticker that said $2,345 but when he was quoted for an order on a different vehicle it was $2,500. I don't think the dealer was trying to charge $2,500 for that particular vehicle.

Ordered mine today and this caused a lot of confusion with the sales rep. How does the website being screwed up effect the build sheet?

I was building one online on Tuesday around noon eastern time and it went from $2500 to $0 for the Luxury package. I had a build with it showing $2500, refreshed the screen, and it had dropped to $0 but was still on the option list. I assume it is a bug. Maybe Ford contracted with the same website builder that did the Affordable Care Act website in 2013.

The build page on the web site has been being updated all week. I think it's still a work in progress. A Competent person would make the changes on an off-line version, then swap them out, but it is what it is.
