This is not a "Which Black Lug Nuts" post. This is me trying to understand the Ford accessories page. On my laptop, when browsing accessories for my new incoming Maverick, I got a very limited list of accessories, and it didn't seem to save anything I told it to save even though I was logged in. Today, it seems to have a larger list of accessories. On both days it was having an issue where I'd try to click something like the person icon next to the shopping cart and it wouldn't register until I reloaded the page.
On my desktop today, it found a lot more accessories and when I said to save them it did, and then they now appear on my saved item list. It is also having occasional problem with the links not working, but not nearly as bad as the laptop.
Both are running the same update of Chrome.
What's really odd is that when I was searching around yesterday, the laptop found things that the desktop doesn't find today, specifically these black lug nuts. https://www.ford.com/product/m14-x-15-black-lug-nut-vehicle-kit-of-20-p2941319440 which it says fit the Maverick.
However, when I search accessories on the desktop, it can only find chrome lug nuts, but not the black ones from above. It said that the ones it found were the only lug nuts that fit the Maverick (searching within all Maverick accessories for "lug nuts"). Yet, when I direct link, even the desktop says the black lugs will fit the Maverick. AND it then let me add them to my saved items.
Is the accessories site just acting oddly for everyone? Alternately, what on earth am I doing differently between these computers to get such different results? And finally, the black lug nuts seem to come from something called performance parts instead of accessories, which may be the difference, but, in that case, I cannot figure out how to locate the performance parts area of the page again. I tried searching for the black lugs this morning, and could not find them until I dug out the direct link.
What have I screwed up/done differently? Thanks.
