Hello everyone! my name is James and I just picked up my Maverick yesterday!

2022 XLT FX4 Area 51

I'm sure some of you have seen some of my work before on my website www.focusrush.com

I did the photoshops and writeup on my thoughts on a Maverick ST. the images have made their rounds and is even being used by at least one performance shop (without permission lol)

Anyways. I have lots of ideas running through my head about what direction I want to go with mine. The color wasn't a choice, it's just what was available. I don't hate Area 51, but it wasn't my first choice. It should be a good design challenge.

I'm a photographer and graphic designer by trade, and I even have had my hand in several SEMA Ford vehicle designs in the past including the DRAGG Police Focus ST and Mustang, And several Bojix Design builds. I can't take credit for those designs, but I can at least claim the renderings on most of them and I had some input on the designs.

All I know is that I can't leave it stock... lol. Anyways. I'm excited for this new chapter in my life.

Love the body work and plastics. All that is wonderful. The wheel design is even nice, but they are just too big for me and the tires are too thin, I also gotta have a lil more height in the rear and a smidge more on the front. Im just a realistic hooligan driver, the faster a vehicle is the harder I want to drive it. The 74 Maverick in my picture regularly caught air the way I drove it. Think Dukes of Hazard but turned down from 11 to 6 or whatever the level that a chassis can survive.
