My question isn't whether flock helps solve crimes.
My question is how many more innocent people have been targeted by flock, versus the time before flock cameras?
"Roughly 700,000–1,000,000 crimes aided per year." :) (Funny word choice they had there. You'd think they'd say they assisted in solving them, not that they aided the crimes.)

Whenever human intervention is an option, there will be abuse. It is the human condition. People just can't help themselves. There are guard rails to prevent abuse but the evil crazies can't be stopped. I accept that sorry, repulsive fact. Get rid of all processes where there is abuse and there will be nothing left.

Wow - Being pulled over and arrested at gunpoint with no more cause than a misread letter.
I'm thinking that there may be a few lawsuits coming...
A number of local jurisdictions have cancelled their Flock contracts after episodes of police officers in Arizona using the Flock data to stalk former girlfriends.

This includes the Pinal County Sheriff's Office, Chandler and Tempe police departments that all within the past week have said they plan to discontinue use of Flock cameras.

Court records indicate that at least 50 officers in the US have been accused and/or charged with using license-plate reader data to track women they know personally.

Oops..

Then why make it so easy to enable the evil crazies with Flock cameras? Again, citizens are not asking for this.

Don't forget to throw in nefarious actors in costumes. Legally allowed to Lie. With access & powers us ordinary (read opposition) citizens don't have. Qualified immunity comes to mind.

So I may have picked up a conspiracy theory but I read a comment on FB that Flock also is now collecting RFID information, so they now know who's phone(s) are in the vehicle. This may well be BS, but it's only a matter of time before AI can put all this together. Big Brother is truly watching.
