Flexbed Divider

Just got a couple 2x6 cut as a rear divider. Learned from another thread that the length should be 54 1/4”. That length worked perfectly. I see Can Tire has a can of bed liner spray for $15. I might paint these out to match the bed.

Looks great! I was planning on doing exactly the same thing including spraying them with bedliner and using that area (covered by a tonneau) as a sort of a trunk.

I know that rocker panel spray will not last on wood for more than about a season. I have had wood dividers like this in my trucks for years and they will generally last many years without any protection .... looks nicer black though. I use them to keep scuba tanks from moving around and I have them in my Maverick again for that purpose.

I was going to prime and spray liner paint on these 2x6s. Decided to go with trailer bunk carpet instead. Just stretched it over and stapled. The padding keeps any potential rattling noise down and offers some protection.
