I wish I could get Flated to come up with a piece to connect the top of the Air-topper to the bottom of the open tailgate. I have bugged them for almost a year. I love my Air-topper but with the missing piece I could sleep in the bad.

Just go to a place that does boat tops, they'll figure something out in no time flat, and be able to custom-make it for you. If it's off-season they're usually pretty quick too

Who
🤓 🤔 I would like to see a picture of it where it’s flattened. The link you have listed there does not work.
go to YouTube and put in Air-Topper by Flated.

So, I was on the fence about getting a topper, because cost and usage. The cost side I felt like spending $3500 a fiberglass topper was too rich for me. My thoughts on using a hard topper were for camping and hauling stuff once in a while, which seemed not worth cost for low usage.

I was looking for alternatives from soft topper to Flated topper. But still a grand plus to only use it a few times a year still seemed like a bridge to far. However, I was reading a post on here or the reddit page about flated topper returns for about $850 ish. So I was looking at it but with shipping and tax it still was a little rich for me.

Anyhow, I check evilBay for any listing and found only 2 listings. One was a low cap for $550 and a higher top one for $899. After shipping and tax the low top one was $600ish and the high top on was pushing a grand. Well the choice was easy to make and boy was I happy when I got a new in box never inflated topper.

I inflated it for the first time and installed it in about 45 minutes. I Left it on for a week and it passed QA perfectly. UnInflated it and stored it on a shelf in the garage then ordered a dac end cap tent for $195 from the jungle store.

Long story short I'm stocked and can't wait for the summer camping to try out my new toys!

I'm impressed. I have a flat tri-fold aluminum bed cover on my 2024 XLT which has worked great for my needs. But if I needed more covered space I'd definitely consider this...

I did it. Got me one. Like it so far.
Zero wind noise at any speed up to 80 mph tested.

No drop in MPG measurable and if you read my posts you know I measure very closely.

Aero drag is negligible.
