never hurts to check but i doubt there would be an issue. You can get bar doors from the factory from ford on the bronco, remove the roof, etc. Heck I've seen custom vehicle with no bumpers on the road.

I had the shop fab some filler panels in some of the areas. Really a clean/detailed look. photos of those as well next week.

You can do a lot of things to vehicles, doesn’t mean it’s legal for street use. A factory supplied door has to meet govment standards. A custom one off bumper, is questionable.never hurts to check but i doubt there would be an issue. Never said it was, hence my first 4 words of my post, regardless, i personally highly doubt the OP encounter legal issue or insurance issue. I would assume it's a heck of a lot stronger than the piece of PLASTIC from the factory

yep, it's all good here, np, everyone has their perspectives, points/opinions. Imagine damage from those accessories plugged into the trailer hitch like those steps, cargo carriers, handicap chair carriers, just to mention a few, plowing into a vehicle

I wonder if the factory bumper could be left on. Just have a prerunner bumper to protect the factory one.

Possibly.... The OEM plastic cover sticks out far. Then adding the bars might make it stick out to far? Maybe have the bars come thru the plastic OEM cover at points. Try to keep it tighter to the body?

No apologies. Great idea! If needed I can have the shop plate that area. I was not sure how it would look.... Easier to add than remove in future.

Yeah, nice, some kind of pocket for the high-lift runner to engage in would be interesting. I grew up with high-lifts on the farm/ranch, and often feel naked without one. Haha
