First Live Sighting-Warren, Michigan 2-8-22

Saw my first Maverick (in the wild) today. I was stopped at a traffic light at 12 Mile Rd. and Ryan, about 11:45 a.m., and was passed by a Cyber Orange Mav. It looked like an XLT as it went by heading in the other direction. A woman was driving. If you're on MTC, congrats! The only other one I've seen was the one I test drove, at the dealer, back in October.

Yes I did, but it was an Ecoboost. I ordered a hybrid. It was important for me to sit in one and drive it to check the feel, blind spots, etc., before ordering. It handled great, and was good on the highway. I'm a big guy, and the room was more than sufficient. I was really impressed with the headroom. PS...I visited my dealer, today, for the first time since ordering. My salesman and I had a nice chat. He said several have come in, and he's hopeful I'll get a build date, next month. We shall see.

I saw my first Maverick today while driving my truck in my neighborhood. I honked and rolled down my windows. The person told me the truck was a college vehicle used by many people. It looked great.

My salesman had a list of 19 people waiting on any Maverick that is turned down by someone who ordered one. They currently have ZERO on the lot.

I saw my first Maverick in Hanover, Pa. Catus gray with tailgate lettering done in an American flag.

Must be the difference with downstate and upstate. Last I checked with my salesman he didn't yet have any come in. But he did say 5 have been looked at and I think I'm about 20 back. At least that's what he told me.

My salesman also commented that the ones that have arrived at the dealer have not arrived in a particular order. Just like it seems the orders of MTC members have been.

We saw our first Mav ( XLT, Area51, 4x, tow pkg) today near Boulder, Co! He passed us getting on the freeway, we weren't. We were driving our 2022 Bronco Sport Big Bend, Area51. Super cool to see!

I've seen a few Mavs in the Ann Arbor-Ypsi-Canton Twp area where I am mostly driving. 4 or 5 total, I think. Plus mine. I've noticed a few people checking my truck out and have chatted with a couple of interested people.

I snagged a refused order (XLT Eco 4K and FX4) back in late January. My ordered one is supposed to have arrived this week, but I can't track it anymore since I released it to the dealer in February. They said they had a waiting list and were eager for it to be available. Its a basic XL Eco with 4K which I ordered mid-October.

With all the recent news about chips and delivery delays, I feel extremely lucky to have mine!

This is my neck of the woods. I go to the car wash on Ryan between 12 and 13 Mile. There used to be a Maverick for a while on the lot at Crest. I believe it was a demo.

UPDATE...Just had my second Maverick sighting (3-21-22). A gray Ecoboost AWD in Warren, Michigan.

I spotted a Mach E for the first time at the Target at 12 and Dequindre. Still no Maverick sightings. Only at the dealer.
