Hello all, wife bought a xlt awd and I really like everything about it like very easy to maneuver, fit in three car garage and enough power for me especially being a 4 banger. I have been a diesel truck guy but sick of how the epa screwed them with egr and def emissions systems so I just bought a Tremor Lariat but had the dealer swap the leather seats for cloth. Love them both. Thinking of maybe or maybe not a slight lift and/or one inch increase in tire size.

Congratulations to both you and your wife's new Maverick's. Hope you continue to enjoy them everyday. How about some pictures? I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see them. Again congratulations to you both.

Same here, first Ford. Always had euros and Japanese cars. You can definitely tell the difference in each. Tell you one thing though, spare parts are cheap for the Ford.

Welcome! You are gonna love the Tremor. If your coming from diesels and large trucks, I would think of it as a rally car with a cargo bed built in. Lots of fun to be had with the turbo, and it can have some serious pull with upgrades. Tremor shocks are definitely not just normal junk, they can take a pounding, but if you are into spending money Flat-Out makes really good coil over kits for it. People are running anywhere from 245/65s to 245/70s without any other mods, but 255/65s, 265/65s and 255/70s have been done with lifts and maybe some pinch weld massaging in the front wheel well.

Lots of good stuff to learn here. And dont forget to share photos of your trucks and what you do to them!

Thanks I appreciate the responses and I think it will be a hell of a lot cheaper to maintain. Someone said they returned theirs right after the purchase because it’s uncomfortable but for me ride is good and fuel is cheaper than diesel. I got 26mpg avg on the tremor on the first dealer filled tank. I refilled with 91 octane for the next round just to see if it improves.

That may help a bit in the ecoboost. Not so much in the Hybrid. However, octane & mileage comparisons aren't really of much use until the truck gets broken in with a few thousand miles on it.

Hey Bob.

Congratulations on getting your Maverick!

Now that you have it, perhaps one of the first mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

Two styles/sizes available:

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Glossy) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($5 delivered)

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($6 delivered)
