My First FORD! And I want the Maverick !

Just stopping in and saying hi! My first ford and im really lokoing forward to buying a Maverick! Reason why i picked it ? I don't need a HGUE truck with a V6. Can't wait to see what kinda things we can do to them to make them better & customizable !

I've been driving since 1972 and the Maverick will be my first Ford. I am stoked to get it. Still a long wait for it but each month I am adding to my down payment. Lariat AWD Luxury Velocity Blue

I've been driving since 2009 and the Maverick will be my fourth car- all ford. You will not be disappointed! Drove a 2003 Taurus SES- 2009 Mercury Montego (aka the boat) and I'm currently in a 2014 Ford Fusion I'll be swapping for a XLT FX4 EB I ordered in November. Welcome to the club both here and Ford.

Well, it will be my first Brand new truck. I was looking at the Chev Colorodo but those are like another 20k on top of the Maverick 38k so.. I bet there are performance options with in a year to help the little 4cyl make more power.. ( not that im buying the truck for speed or lots of power )

As a 90s child I grew up in the era of mini trucks so this is just a dream come true at 28 to get the first iteration of the new mini truck. It's gonna be awesome

yeah there are multiple threads here documenting mods and offering some aftermarket stuff for sale too. Search is your friend BTW: you said you are GOING TO buy 1- how far are you into the process? You know Hybrid ordering is closed already for MY22 right? Also it's going to be multiple months of waiting to get either hybrid or ECO boost models with some people already past 6 months since ordering. You'll need to be really patient...

There are a few here on the lots in Canada Locally, I don't need to order one but if one has most of the features I want ill grab it. I do "NOT" want a Hybrid. 4cyl turbo nothing more nothing less

exactly my thought process! Before Ford admitted Maverick was a real product there was tons of speculation it would have same engine choices as either Bronco Sport or Escape- both have a 1.5 L 3 cyl Dragon as base engine. It also comes with automatic cylinder deactivation I was thrilled when Ford revealed the 2.0 turbo was an option as I wouldn't buy anything with that Dragon setup and had NO interest whatsoever in the hybrid either. Was also hoping for AWD option too- and my prayers were answered
