Thanks Tim for the transparency of info your provide both here and your YouTube channel, just watched your latest stream, was really good !If you didn't catch it last night on my live stream, I mentioned that the First Edition will need to get scheduled in the 22MY production and that they will build them all. I also stated that Ford will probably make sure they all get scheduled in a certain week. Looks like that might be this week.
I took everything off my order back in August. Nothing but crickets from Ford.. Me too. XL hybrid. Honestly we don’t stand a chance. Concentration on first addition. Some advice for you. Sibl, rapid red, tonneau cover, red. Those are all constraints. Talk to your dealer about taking off sibl, bed cover, those can be done after delivery. Consider color change also
I posed the same question to Ford and my dealer, and nobody will say if my 22 will be built or a 23. Also, nobody will state if the order for a 22 will even be honored if not built by the time the 23’s are scheduled. Could simply be cancelled.Ford, I ordered a Hybrid June 10th, sales code F27046. Order code A778. ZIP 20772. My dealer told me my hybrid was getting rolled over to a 2023 two weeks ago because they weren't making any more hybrids. I assume what my dealer meant was that HE wasn't getting anyone hybrid allocations to Upper Marlboro Ford, MD. I've talked to the manager, Ford Customer Service, Ford Facebook account rep, and the complaint line numerous times. No one can give me a straight answer on if my truck will he a 2022 or not.
I was literally one of the first in the entire country to order a 2022 Maverick. Why haven't I been scheduled, and why am I in danger of not even getting one at all?
My dealer told me that they had customers of a variety of Ford products that were supposed to be delivered by next week, now told the end of May.I want to know that too. The tracking site says "several days". That could explain why the dealer was told 2-4 weeks before delivery, adding in for that delayed build maybe. (dealer mentioned 2-4 weeks seems longer than usual for something showing "in production" as its usually 1-3 weeks)
Contacted by dealer today 2/22/22, requested that I drop the first edition and lux pack if I want a truck built MY-22... Told most likely my June 1st and June 15th confirmation order may not arrive until MY-23. Regardless I chose to stick with the first edition, we will see!I received my schedule date email today! I’m so excited.![]()
2nd edition, here we come?Contacted by dealer today 2/22/22, requested that I drop the first edition and lux pack if I want a truck built MY-22... Neither my dealer nor Ford would confirm that an order for a ‘22 would even be honored if not built before the ‘23’s are started.2nd edition, here we come?
I haven't called this week yet, but i usually do every Friday. As of Friday, Ford confirmed nothing changed and my order is still in the queue. The dealer has to cancel the order and would (should) inform you first.I posed the same question to Ford and my dealer, and nobody will say if my 22 will be built or a 23. 1st edition is actually a package on the Lariat but I would check with your dealer to make sure they have a COVP/ROVP approval. But I'm not surprised if you still have an unscheduled June order. Especially since it has electric package and its hybrid. Thanks Tim for the transparency of info your provide both here and your YouTube channel, just watched your latest stream, was really good !
I have my FE A51 hybrid Maverick ordered on June 11, and still not even a production schedule date. I was starting to wonder if I should call my dealer to ask them to change in Lariat lux copilot instead of the FE. From what you are saying maybe that won’t be wise. Although I am happy for everyone who have gotten their rides, but also quite frustrated that I don’t even have a scheduled date yet despite being one of the earliest orders. Hopefully the luck changes soon.
Ok, but what about the rest of our orders? Anyone notice that Ford keeps coming up with all these really cool prototypes, makes a big splash for the media, takes orders, then doesn’t produce what it promises? If you didn't catch it last night on my live stream, I mentioned that the First Edition will need to get scheduled in the 22MY production and that they will build them all. Umm, If you have a 1st Edition, you are guaranteed to get it before 2023 production starts.Contacted by dealer today 2/22/22, requested that I drop the first edition and lux pack if I want a truck built MY-22... DON'T DO IT! I don't understand how dealers aren't reading the memo correctly. There is no mention of the first edition package as a constraint. All first editions will get scheduled for a 22MY build.Contacted by dealer today 2/22/22, requested that I drop the first edition and lux pack if I want a truck built MY-22...
