I searched and searched. Is there any access through the fire-wall into the cabin for running a wired switch for fogs?

Looks like there is a neat little "tube" / "plugs" that can be cut under the hybrids to expose a wire pass-through into the battery compartment on a hybrid for trailer applications:

Yes.

Two ways to find it:

1. From the engine bay: Look directly at the firewall about halfway down directly in front of the driver.

2. From the cabin: look up from the driver footwell.

Cut an X in the rubber gasket and run your wire through.
