Is/are there posts under the hood to attach the jumpers or do you have to go directly to the battery?
You may want to hook up an extension wire from the ground post on the rail and run it to the front of the vehicle. Just pick up a bronze grounding clamp from the hardware store and attach it to the ground stud location on the frame rail under the hood. ONce affixed, you will have three locations where to attach grounds for other accessories.

Thanks.
Just looking for a place in case I need to jump start the truck.

Thanks. I will take a look today and see what's up.
I appreciate the time and extra effort and hope I don't need them for at least quite a while.
