I used Nilight led 60" bed 2 piece waterproof strip kit for 18.36 before taxeson Amazon. I soldiered them into the OEM d.s. bedlight which was lacking at best, especially with my 2 x 10" bed divider. I used zipties to run the wires along the inners of the sheet metal behind the bed and under it. I also covered the wire with cloth tape for a more oem look even though it will never be seen. I also had to remove both p.s. & d.s. liner sides for easier access to the bedrails and securing the leds.
I cut both sides led strips down to 42" to fit between my bedcover rail clamps. The led strips came in a waterproof channel with rubber caps silicone on each end. The ends I cut, I removed the caps and added more clear silicone to help keep water out. Even though it shouldn't be a issue since they're under the bed rail and a bed cover.
These should provide plenty of light for me at night, as before with bed cover the single led bedlight was pretty much useless. I'll provide a night photo once it gets dark this evening. Pretty simple and straightforward install took about a hour & a half start to finish. I also provided a link to the exact kit I installed.
