Would extra weight in the bed help with snow traction?

I'm near Phoenix Arizona. What is this "snow" that you all speak of? 😎
I live in California. I've heard of rain. But never actually seen it.

As winter approaches, snow will be here soon. I had trucks before, always had to put wait in the bed for traction. The Maverick is front wheel drive, would weight in the bed be of any use?
Snow tires is your best bet for more traction in the winter.

It's in Flagstaff occasionally.
Also Prescott, Sedona, etc. Mountains get snow, even in AZ.

One would think a Phoenician would be aware of this, given traffic volumes up and down I-17.

I've heard rumors that snow actually existed but haven't seen it in the wild in many moons.
I've lived here 12 years. It got almost to freezing once. Thought I was gonna die. Maybe I was dreaming. Ha.
