Finally installed my bushwhacker pocket style fender flares

My Ute is complete, got the fender flares from real truck for $399. Installation was fairly straightforward. Working with the factory fastener was a pain, and they wouldn’t fit thru the holes on the bushwhacker flares, so I had to drill bigger holes. If I was to do it again I would buy all new hardware, 1/8 longer to account for the added thickness. And it would be much easier to put back together with new fasteners. Looks like a mini Raptor.

Is this purely aesthetic, or are you worried about rock chips on the sides of the truck?

Looks good! Not sure how it would look with my white hybrid lariat.

I think that the black really suits lighter colours like my while lariat. One small caveat - they are dirt magnets, so you end up using a cleaning rag every other day.

Do they actually somehow use those bolts on the outside or are they only for show?
