Finally have a Maverick in my garage! Basic info an initial impressions:
Ordered 10/28/21. Drove her home on 10/31/22. Hybrid XLT with lux and 360. At some point a few months ago I dropped the tonneau cover option in order to speed the build. And around late July when we got our build date we changed the color from silver.
Only driven 20 miles so far but I really like the "just trucky enough" feel and it's impressively smooth and quiet for a $28,000 vehicle. And the stereo is more than fine for my middle-aged ears -- No complaints here. Got an indicated 50.1 mpg on the ride home. I get the feeling that we're really going to enjoy this vehicle.
And finally, a big shoutout to Jarrett Ford of Charlotte County and my salesman Jay Wurlitzer. He reached out to me whenever he had new info to share, and they honored the MSRP pricing that we saw back in October of 2021 when we placed the order. They never pressured me into any add-ons or extra packages, and the transaction could not have gone any smoother.
