My sisters inform me in no uncertain terms of the speaker volume every time they ride in the back.We love ours for road trips, except the rear seat bottom which is thinly padded and leads to sore butts after many hours sitting there. I bought some high quality 1.5" thick foam from an upholstery shop to lay on top of the seat as added padding for long drives and now it's perfect
Also, set the radio volume where you'd like it and go sit in the back seat - you'll probably notice the rear speakers screaming straight into your ear - set the fader forward until it's bearable for rear passengers
