Finally got a Maverick after a full year

Finally picked up a Lariat Maverick yesterday. We ordered a 23 last year but sadly it was never scheduled and we had to order a 24. Which was upsetting to the wife because she was very excited about the Area 51 grey and the Keypad for entry and those were sadly gone. While looking at close dealers we came across this Area 51 Maverick with all the options she wanted and also no options she didn't want. The customer that ordered did not take delivery of it so we were able to buy it that day with no mark up at all. So happy to finally get one

At first she was a little upset she wasn't getting the hybrid, but for terms of long term ownership not having the battery to deal with will be nice. Now only have to worry about the AWD system

The battery and hybrid system has an eight year warranty. Almost as long as the Kia Niro (10-year, 100K mile) my wife took from me…

I wanted area51, and my wife wanted cactus but didn’t tell me. We missed the order window last year and had to wait for the 24. She admitted after we placed our order that she likes the cactus better.
