I picked up this adapter off of Amazon from car tech and it works great super easy to install. Plus you can use it on other cars that have wired only Android auto.

And here's a quick video of the install

This is great! I was just watching a video today of someone else installing a different brand of an Android Auto wireless adapter into their Maverick, but unfortunately the link they provided was broken.

Apparently these Android Auto/CarPlay wireless adapters are rather finnicky, and not all work with the Maverick's system, so I'm glad to hear of another brand that works!

Wireless Android Auto adapters seem to work more universally, but CarPlay adapters can be hit or miss specifically based on whether it's a Maverick with Sync 3 (Lariat Lux) or the Connected Touch Radio in lower trims.

This is the carlinkit AI box. You can add apps from the play store and do carplay/AA with it. Im running Torque Pro to add some gauges.

I'll try it again, but I had a Motorola MA1 in my Mazda. It sucked the phone's battery down really quick. Then I got a wireless charger to fix that, and it just made the phone overheat.

This is one of the lesser expensive ones but it works pretty well. You can get nicer ones with more memory/processor but more $$
That's a good price and it lets you watch netflix and treat your infotainment system like a Android phone, I like. I put it on my wish list. thanks

I've had my maverick hybrid since Jan 22 and immediately purchased the AAWireless dongle. Plugged into my USBc, foam tape to secure/hide it and had 100% reliability since day one. HIGHLY recommended!

Most likely the phone type. I use the MA1 with my Pixel 6 Pro(and sometimes OnePlus 9) and don't have those issues.
You can also mirror apps like Torque Pro, and Video apps, using the MA1(or other AA wireless adapters) with Screen2Auto App.
