Finally Built

Just received an email this morning, 2/21/22 from FORD advising my MAV is built and being shipped with an estimated delivery date of 3/12. This was after I received an email on 2/18 advising my MAV was built with an estimated delivery date of 5/16. My first estimated delivery date back in January was 2/16. Here's hoping I'll be driving this beauty in 3 weeks instead of 3 months.

Fast shipping times! My hybrid lariat lux was built/shipped as of last Friday, but my estimated delivery is 3/18-3/24. No complaints though, I'll take it.

It does seem like they're really cranking these things out now

I got my shipped notice this morning. Estimated delivery didn't change from 6-12 March. I guess now I need to get accessories on order.

Mine was marked as built on 2/8 and says shipped a couple days later. 3/17 estimated arrival. Hopefully sooner

I got a Built email on Sunday with delivery in the first week of April. When I check the built tracker, nothing has changed. PCM modules still not turned on so not sure what changed.

Yea sometimes the tracker/web page has issues. The emails are usually better indicators.

I received the ship email this morning too - Delivery from 3/18 -3/24. No delays once it got locked into last week for production. Hopefully they keep this level of efficiency and get more vehicles scheduled, built and shipped!

We got the Built email on Sunday and the Shipped email on Monday. Delivery in Vermont expected 3/23-3/29.

Have any of you been tracking the rail shipping? [See TRACKERS at the top of the page, to see how.]

We learned that ours got to Nogales, MX on Monday, which I understand is the USA border. Since then it's just said, "No Status Available." I have noted that some folks get that message alot, but their truck eventually shows up anyway. I do half wonder if it's just sitting there at Customs, though. What has been your experience?

Do we use UP at first in the USA, then switch over to CSX? Or is it all CSX when the final destination is the east coast? Thanks!

I would imagine yours would be on UP to Chicago and then switch to another rail carrier that gets to the closest rail yard with auto depot/transporter contracted with Ford to Vermont. Probably in New York State or Massachusetts.

Thanks! I have attempted to track through UP, but the site never interprets my carefully enunciated voice correctly. Any suggestions? The recording says I can type just the numbers, but that didn't work either. Am I supposed to pronounce the letters and then type the numbers, or use the keypad to type the numbers? Also, should it be TTGX or TGX or just GX in front of the number? I've tried it all three ways, but it always repeats it back incorrectly.

Even though it starts out in the UP you can trace it through CSX from the beginning and yes, the site is finicky. I make sure I speak clearly and no other noises are in the background. This should work for you, does for me.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.
FYI:

One very important thing to note and this was on the original thread
“Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track”
