Thanks! I have attempted to track through UP, but the site never interprets my carefully enunciated voice correctly. Any suggestions? The recording says I can type just the numbers, but that didn't work either. Am I supposed to pronounce the letters and then type the numbers, or use the keypad to type the numbers? Also, should it be TTGX or TGX or just GX in front of the number? I've tried it all three ways, but it always repeats it back incorrectly.
Yes, annunciation as clear as you can. No background noises. Do not use speaker phone. Also, just say TGX with UP's system. Another hint, do not say it too slow and do not emphasize any letter or number. Clear, monotonous, steady cadence with as little accent as possible. I could actually speak pretty quickly as long as I was clear and steady.

Even though it starts out in the UP you can trace it through CSX from the beginning and yes, the site is finicky. I make sure I speak clearly and no other noises are in the background. This should work for you, does for me.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.
FYI:

One very important thing to note and this was on the original thread
“Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track”
Right, that's the site guide I have been following. Just wondered if I ought to have switched to UP (also explained on that same page) when the truck crossed into the USA and was still in the west.
The only reason I wondered was that, ever since the truck made it to the border, there is no longer any information. All I get is "No Status Available." I know this has happened to others. Trying to be patient.

Congrats on your truck. I really enjoy mine. It has been a while since I have been to Burkburnett... I grew up in Wichita Falls and left there in the mid-70's.

We got the Built email on Sunday and the Shipped email on Monday. Delivery in Vermont expected 3/23-3/29.

Have any of you been tracking the rail shipping? [See TRACKERS at the top of the page, to see how.]

We learned that ours got to Nogales, MX on Monday, which I understand is the USA border. Since then it's just said, "No Status Available." I have noted that some folks get that message alot, but their truck eventually shows up anyway. I do half wonder if it's just sitting there at Customs, though. What has been your experience?

Do we use UP at first in the USA, then switch over to CSX? Or is it all CSX when the final destination is the east coast? Thanks!
Sounds like ours may be on the same train. Got a shipping notification from Ford on 2/18 with a delivery estimate of 3/14-3/20 to Holyoke Mass. Seems like they must have built a bunch for the New England/Northeast region and sent them off. Will be nice to see some on the roads around here.

Very cool! 🤩👍

Please consider updating here as you learn any more about the location of your truck.

Mine's on this railcar: TTGX994880 (though the CSX site just wants GX994880).

Not sure about calling the UP. I started on day one calling the CSX number have have gotten updates on a daily basis. Can only say keep trying and maybe it will eventually work. Good luck.

Today is a good day! DebsMav has shipped and ETA is 3/20-3/26!

Sweet! 👍 Mine shipped Sunday and is due to South Burlington Vermont between March 23th and 29th. Ours could be riding together! If you like, we could post here when we have an update and see if it's a match. Last I knew, mine was at Nogales, MX (the US border) and since then the updates just say "No status available" ~ so I guess it's sitting at Customs.

UPDATE!
If you are tracking using CSX, be sure to use all letters as well as the numbers. I discovered that the automated system will tell you that there is "No Status Availability" if you don't include all letters. I've seen some folks speak of using just 2 letters or 3. But if you have 4 letters (mine are TTGX) then use all four before giving the number part.

By doing so, today, I discovered that our truck is half way home!! 😃👍

I just tried adding the TT to the GX prefix followed by the 6 digit number without success. Still getting a "no status" response.

Keep trying! The site is a little rickety, but you'll likely score a good response at some point.
Earlier tonight I gave the letters and numbers and it took three tries for the machine to hear me correctly. And after all that, it came back and said it was experiencing computer problems and began to put me through to a human; so of course I hung up (which is what we're supposed to do). Just now, it simply repeated the message I got this morning...that my rail car left West Yard (Kansas City KS) at 9:20am on Union Pacific. I imagine it's headed up to Chicago. Would Fox River be along that route? By any chance are your numbers 994880? If so, your Maverick is on the same rail car as mine. 🍀

Thanks for the follow-up. I'll give it a try again tomorrow. As for my railcar, my Mav is alleged to be in TTGX850666 according to my dealer salesman. When I last spoke to my salesman after I received the email announcing the truck had been shipped, he seemed every bit as excited as me. I'm heading to Palm Springs CA for a short leisurely winter get-away, so I teasingly told him if it arrives before I return on March 7th not to sell it . . . he laughed and said they would put it on their showroom floor since they haven't had any in stock to show all the many interested customers they've had these past several months. I'd be proud to show off my Mav in that regard.

How exciting! Have fun, and be sure to post some photos when you get your Maverick. It's nice to know some other folks whose truck is imminent. I gave my spouse a set of snow tires for the truck for Christmas. At that time, with our truck already in Production, we thought it would arrive in late January or in February. Now I wonder if we'll just wait until Fall to use them. Ha!
