Anything that adds air resistance will have some impact but I doubt that any of the commonly used add-ons most folks buy will be measurable without an instrumented wind tunnel test.

2026 Lariat. Just got done installing Mabett fender, flares, and the rear tailgate lettering. I think it looks pretty good. I also have mudflaps, but kinda looks good without them on.

Anyone try out the Mabett flares in a real Northern winter yet? I live a few miles down a dirt road in New Hampshire, not sure if they'd hurt more than help?

I could see the 3m tape failing in negative temps, also worried about the open cavity of the flares being a salt catch.

They look great though and would certainly help with salt spray on the side of the vehicle.
