Features pros and cons imo

I really like my maverick . it is very useful for me . I like the mpg . some additional opinions below .

Pros 1) blind spot monitoring is a safety feature I like in addition to visually 2) cross traffic alert in reverse has been very useful in addition to visually . 3) backup camera has been helpful in addition to actually looking back .

Cons 1) start/stop feature . I always turn it off . starting engine each time is additional wear and tear on engine , starter and turbo . to save a few cents in gas now for an expensive repair later on is not worth it imo . this is especially true if you plan on keeping the Mav long term . Also helps keeping battery charged .This would be a pro for mechanics , parts suppliers and manufacturers .

Don't cares - light bulbs outage notification . I always check anyhow . remote start . push button start ( use to carry key and turning it on ) .

Others can add their own pros and cons or don't cares .

You can permanently disable auto/stop start and disable light bulb outages with Forscan! My main two complaints about the Maverick was the seatbelt screen and chime and the auto stop/start. Forscan allowed me to disable them both! and you can revert back to factory codings whenever easily.

You can also add remote start for your key fob via a ford kit. I can link it if you would like! I have it on mine and click lock unlock lock to remote start it

The Perimeter Plus alarm module w/ remote start is worth every penny for sure!

Like the OP, I have lots of likes or pros but my con list is empty.......

Likes:
- HVAC and radio controls are on the dash. I know touchscreens are all the rage, but I'm old school.

Dislikes:
- Auto start stop. I like the concept, but wish it could be configured differently. It should have a delay option so that it doesn't turn off when at a stop sign for 2 seconds.
