I just joined in Texas. You do NOT have to be a farmer or own farm land to join. Fee was $45.00 for the next 12 months. I've used them before while in North Carolina and their Ford Rebate of $500.00 is always good!So I keep reading about the $500 Farm Bureau discounts . I decided to check with New Jersey today. They said the cost to join is $150 and you have to be a farmer/own farm land to join. I thought they would accept non-farmers and use the money for farmland preservation. So I wouldn’t qualify to be a member. Is this the case in every state ?
In Ohio, you do select a county to be a member in....but that has nothing to do with where you can use the discounts. I have used them out of state before, no questions asked.Just called Kentucky. You have to be a resident to be a member. Guess I will try Illinois.
It’s not a per state thing, it’s a National incentive by Farm Bureau. It’s on the Ford website under incentives for the Maverick. https://www.ford.com/trucks/maverick/pricing-and-incentives/?gnav=footer-vehiclesKentucky extended it to Jan 2023
When you received your certificate, is there any mention of the state it is from or what state you can use it in ?I know what PITA is. I was saying what part of the PROCESS is a PiTA. Mine was simple, joined ($30), waited 39 days, entered info on Fords site, printed certificate with the code the dealer has to enter on the “VINCENT” system. Easiest $470 I’ve obtained.
