When you installed the front clamps next to the back window did the plastic extend down past the metal of the sides of the bed making it necessary to grind off some plastic, Extang makes the point that the clamps need to tighten on metal not plastic and I wanted to know if I will need to grind.
the main issue to look for when installing it is being able to align the left and right side evenly so that clamps will tighten well on both sides.

not a problem at all, up you will not need to grind off any plastic on this. The bed and plastic (as well as the spray in bed liner all end at the same point. No cutting needed
The only issue I see, is that the plastic part is not fully even with the body portion. It overhangs in some areas. It is not a big deal but I think when you trim the plastic slightly, you will get a better bite with the clamps.

Been looking for a cover for weeks...couldn't decide...finally ordered this one today based on this thread(don't worry I won't blame anymore here If don't like it) shipping will take 6 weeks. That's fine because my delivery date is 1/30.

Here is more of what I mean about how to fit the cover right.., the lip on the bottom of the tonneau cover should touch and be flush with the lip on the back plastic tail but not sit on top of it.

ya it does, it’s there because those back ones are what really holds the whole thing in, especially if you have the cover folded up and snapped into the Velcro

Installed mine tonight. Fit was just about perfect. Happy for now. Concerned about the flutter while driving. As long as it doesn't create a ton of noise I will remain happy.
