2022 Hybrid XLT, picked up in March 2022.

Dropped off at the dealer to have it checked and do oil change.
They called me and told me it has:

"Transmission codes in mode 6 data"

Any one here know what that means?
Truck drove fine, nothing out of ordinary other then the check engine light that popped on.

I told them to look into the TSB for the grabby brakes as well eh...
I'll update once the mechanic actually looks at the truck.

Are they updating your airbag as well? Your truck's build date is around the same as mine, and my dealer is doing the airbag next week.

Do you have rough idle and shimmy? Might be a bad PCM like mine.

I tried but they don't have the parts, so i'll be waiting on that recall for now. I did the original heat recall already.

I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary. No rough idle or shimmy. I drove it about 300 miles from San Diego to Yuma and back. Maybe the transmission didn't like the hills over the 8? Makes me not so happy since I don't drive the truck hard and I didn't push it that drive either. I just hope it's an easy fix and it's all good. It makes me want to look into the extended warranty since I did not purchase it. :cautious:

UPDATE:

Got the truck back, They said it was some error where the on board transmission computer wasn't matching the speeds of the vehicle. They reset it and reprogrammed it and I have it again. It feels fine nothing wrong just like when I took it in.

I have no idea how this happened. Like I said, I just drove it about 300 miles with no real extremes pushed. Eh.

Also, they didn't do the update for my grabby brakes. They said "it was an issue for another vehicle". I needed the truck so didn't complain. I guess it'll just wait till the next oil change or when it's an actual recall... sigh. lol

Time will tell.
