Emergent security issues, 2025 up Ford vehicles? Escape?

Hi Folks,

Is anyone aware of any new tricks and attacks against 2025 up Ford vehicles, or maybe 2024s which had the updated key encryptions?

I am asking because my wife thinks someone went into her 2025 Escape PHEV overnight, which we always lock. We use RFID pouches on the keys to try to subvert relay attacks, but wife says it could be possible she didn't have the key fully inside the pouch.

Just a bit stuck to figure out how anyone might have got into it without alarm sounding or anything.

What is it that makes you concerned there is a risk? How large a risk do you feel it is?

I would wager if someone did a successful relay attack on your Escape that the Escape would have Escaped.

I have Apple AirTags on each keyring and I know my RFID box works because "FindMy..." can't and they all chirp like little birdies when the box lid is open.

I would wager if someone did a successful relay attack on your Escape that the Escape would have Escaped.

Or, the perpetrator would have escaped with the Escape, assisted by the same Escape.

I took a Faraday pouch back because it didn't work. Lock the door and try to open it with the fob in the pouch in your pocket. Instead I used a metal candy tin that works a lot better.
