Email Notifications on touch screen

Is there any way to disable the email notifications that pop up on the touch screen? I still want my text messages to appear, but gets annoying when the "you have a new email" keep interrupting the music with its loud ping.

i would imagine that is a setting in the cell phone/computer for notifications for text/email

Was searching the Mav owners manual and the cell phone, it just talks about notifications. Does not separate email from texts.

Because I know you didn't setup an email program on the Mav to retrieve/send from your email account.

its in the carplay settings. I want to see ive come across the option in menus on the truck as well.

I have had 2 mavericks 22 and 25 4 years have never seen that, Texts yes email no, I would think it's your phone. Android?

Yes, it is an android phone. I have also not used android-auto as of yet either. I like getting the text messages, just not the email notifications.

You can dig through the settings in your email app then the settings in the phone for "notifications"
