I have a 2025 hybrid f w d that I want to install a strut tower brace on and I need to move the electrical connector that is near the drivers side strut tower. It looks like it should slide out towards the back of the bracket but I can not see how it unlocks from the mount. Any help would be great thanks

Glen I see that you have zipped tied the connector in place out of the way of the bar. I do not know how to remove the connector from its bracket. The connector went where the slot is on the bracket of your truck. thanks for showing the lower picture. Tom

I didn't have to disconnect anything. I put the wire tie onto the brace after it was in place.

I'm not familiar with that setup.
Can you shoot a quick picture of it.
That way we can actually compare the two side by side so to speak.
I'm at my truck now taking a picture. I'll upload it here.
What brand of strut brace did you get?

The Molex connector has a clip rail with a shark fin that hold the fir tree clip in place.
So have to pry up the clip part that locks onto the fin.
Helps if the connectors are disconnected from each other.
Or work the fir tree out of the hole if can't get to it.

Nope
It's about as useful as tailgate letters. It looks nice
I bought it used early on, at good price.

Thanks to all for the pictures, was able to move connector off to the side to allow bar to install without hitting connector. Bar was free so if it changes anything or not its o k. Plus was fun to work on the truck.
